A personal connection I have with this quote is that I too believe that having good character is doing the right thing when no one is looking. When you only do the right thing when others are looking it is called being "fake". When you are fake it leads to conflict.

The way I can personally connect to this quote happened yesterday. A friend and I helped clean up all the trash on 8th grade hallway. We did not do this for recognition, we did this for the benefit of others.

I can relate to this quote because I sometimes do nice things to get something in return. This is because I know if u give, u shall receive . I'm a nice person any ways so most of the time when I do nice things , I do it because I want to.

1.) My personal connection with this quote is that it ties into my own decision making. Doing the right thing when nobody is watching makes you feel good about yourself. You don't need an audience to behave, and that's how I am. Sure, attention is nice, but attention over doing the right thing isn't.

I believe that this quote means that we need to set the foundation of their life when they are young. That means rules to follow, manners, strong work ethic, and so forth. This is much easier to do then trying to fix a man who never learned and lived by these principles.

I personally connect with this qoute for the fact that doing right does make me feel better, but what is considered right and wrong? I don't agree with, "many people" for the reason of everybody having an opinion that differs and people are being categorized without knowing actual facts. I would share this quote because it is up for debate on the meaning.
